In our perpetual dedication to Malaysia's digital progress, NST Data , in collaboration with Maxis Broadband Sdn. Bhd., achieved a triumphant milestone aligned with the government's vision for nationwide 4G network expansion. Focused on meeting high-speed connectivity demand, this project spanned key regions in Perak and Selangor.
In a well-formulated move, NST Data leased and provided essential infrastructure for seven sites strategically placed in locations such as Kajang in Selangor, five sites in Kerian, Perak, and an additional site in Taiping, Perak. Employing an outsourcing strategy with external contractors allowed us to concentrate on more crucial functions that include meticulous planning, coordinated execution, and stringent quality control.
Throughout the project, we proactively addressed challenges, such as identifying alternative power supply options and leveraging Genset resources to ensure adherence to expected timelines. This commitment to excellence further allowed for a forthcoming impressive collaboration with Digital Nasional Berhad (DNB); to expand 5G network coverage across 19 critical sites in Penang, Perak, and Selangor, scheduled for deployment later this year.
Our continuous growth also includes talent development; aside from upskilling current team members through various trainings we recruited a new SAQ (Project Management) team member as well. In addition, we hosted Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) at the office for a networking engagement. All of these are deliberate efforts to achieve 2023 business targets and elevate Xperts Telco Division holistically.
