The annual outlook focuses on the most significant trends influencing the telecommunications industry, including increasingly competitive broadband markets to cybersecurity in the 5G era. Consequently, NST Data has initiated its most recent venture, aiming to enhance its competitiveness within the local telecommunications industry and ultimately setting its sights on achieving a significant milestone to establish its presence as an international player in the telecommunications arena.
Additionally, this journey was orchestrated by the Founder/Managing Director of NST Data, who devised a strategy and investigated the financial benefit of future market share and business expansion. NST Data and XpertsCo conducted valuations by scrutinising financial statements, identifying market positions, researching legal obligations, and analysing the acquisition targets. Following that, XPERTS.MY spread its wings by acquiring more communication assets from two growing regional players to add on XPERTS.MY telecommunication facilities offerings, mainly focusing (but not limited to) in Johor (Prima Cell) and Sabah (Promajadi), respectively.
Apart from that, NST Data assisted XpertsCo in executing the first business acquisition of Prima Cell, a firm based in Taman Tasek, Johor Bahru, that operates seven active telecommunications towers in Johor. Subsequent to the acquisition, a total of 15 additional business contract profiles have been established with U Mobile, Digi Telecommunications, and Maxis.
